These Notary Terms of Service ("Notary Terms") govern the relationship between Online Notary Center and commissioned notaries who register to perform notarizations through our platform. By registering as a notary, you agree to these Notary Terms in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility and Commission Requirements

[Insert verified legal copy — describe the requirement that notaries must hold a valid notary commission in their state, must meet all state-specific RON or electronic notarization requirements (training, technology, bond/insurance where required), and must maintain an active and current commission throughout their use of the platform.]

2. Platform Use and Account

[Insert verified legal copy — describe notary account registration, the requirement to complete platform onboarding and training, maintenance of a digital certificate, and the notary's obligation to keep their commission information current and accurate.]

3. Session Standards and Obligations

[Insert verified legal copy — describe the notary's obligations during each RON session, including: performing identity verification using platform tools (credential analysis and KBA), recording sessions as required by applicable state law, maintaining an electronic journal, applying an electronic seal, and complying with all applicable state RON statutes and regulations.]

4. Prohibited Conduct

[Insert verified legal copy — describe prohibited actions including: notarizing documents where the notary has a conflict of interest, accepting sessions for documents outside their permitted scope, sharing platform credentials, or performing notarizations that violate state law.]

Notaries on the platform pay a subscription fee of $19.95/month (billed annually) and a per-document fee of $9.95 per completed RON session.
